• Can I also buy a ham/slicing knife for my universal slicer? A smooth ham/slicing knife is available for every Ritter universal slicer.
  
• Can the slicer's accessories be put in the dishwasher? We do not recommend putting any part of the slicer in the dishwasher.
  
• Does the slicer have a non-slip base? Our appliances are non-slip as standard only on smooth surfaces. There are also rubber feet on the bottom of our appliances. To ensure a firm grip, the rubber feet must be free of grease and crumbs.
  
• Why do almost all slicers have the same blade diameter? The standard diameter of 17 cm has proven to be good for home use. If the blade diameter is larger, additional safety regulations must be observed.
  
• Will the blade from my old slicer fit on a new one? The shape of the old blade and the color of the old gear wheel must match the shape and color of the new blade.
