Instructions for use
Preparation: Decorating tip Cover the cake Knead the fondant until soft and elastic. Roll out thinly on a work surface lightly dusted with cornmeal. Place the fondant covering on the cake, press down lightly with your hands and trim off the excess. Decorating tip Shaping and cutting Knead the fondant and shape it into strands or cut out motifs. Other preparation tips: For a firmer consistency, knead in a little sifted icing sugar. If the fondant is too hard, you can put it in the microwave for 4-5 seconds at about 800 watts. Spread a thin layer of jam on the cake so that the fondant sticks to the cake. For new colors, combine the fondant with RUF fondants of different colors as desired. Pack the remaining fondant in an airtight bag and store in a cool place. Knead again before processing.
